[] All diplomatic shipments, whether household goods / personal effects, vehicles, official goods for diplomats, embassies, high commissions, are exempted from customs duty and taxes. Diplomatic consignments are also exempted from custom examination.
[] Non-Diplomatic staff members of embassies or high commissions are also allowed to bring duty free household goods & personal effects and one vehicle per family within six months of their arrival.
[] Aid projects official goods are also allowed duty free entry.
[] Aid projects experts are given privileged status, and they can bring all their household goods & personal effects and one vehicle per family duty free, within six months of their arrival.
[] Pakistani citizens returning home after two years stay aboard, are allowed transfer of residence facilities.
[] Animals: Dogs, cats or any other kind or pets are allowed, subject to health regulations.
[] Liquor: Import of liquor is allowed to embassies, high commissions, diplomats and privileged persons. Subject to limitations of quota.
[] Fire arms: Import of fire arms is also allowed to embassies, high commissions, diplomats and privileged persons, prohibited bores are not allowed.
[] Wharfage and THC are chargeable on all consignments.
[] Demurrage charges are payable to port trust authorities, after two days of handing over goods to customs by shipping company.
[] Storage charges on air consignments are charged after four days of their arrival by PIA / Civil Aviation.
